Good Governance Webinar #2: Leading People and Exercising Control -9th Oct 1.45-3pm

Good governance is critical to the performance and impact of community and voluntary sectors across Ireland. Yet many organisations struggle to adopt best practice in governance.

Carmichael, Volunteer Ireland, and Longford Volunteer Centre are pleased to present Good Governance: a free series of short webinars aimed at helping community, voluntary and charitable organisations to adopt best governance practices.

Join us at Longford Volunteer Centre for this series of Webinars delivered by Carmichael Training & Consultancy that will enable your organisation to understand and implement good governance. The seminars topics will cover the six principles of the new Charities Regulator Governance Code, which all charities are expected to adopt from 2020.

Each webinar will consist of a 1 hour video session, followed by a brief group discussion facilitated by Longford Volunteer Centre.

These webinars will suit trustees/managers of registered charities, board members/managers of community and voluntary organisations that intend to register as charities.
